Pro tips If you do wash your rope, hang the lengths under tension to dry. This will help minimize the “puffiness” that results from washing natural fiber ropes. Remember that sunlight is the best disinfectant. Follow up with rubbing a little oil/wax into the dry ropes to tame the fuzzies and restore life to the rope.
