This 100% hemp bondage rope is perfect for both beginners and advanced users of Shibari and rope restraints. At the standard 6mm thickness the possibilities are endless for new and exciting ties. This 50ft piece can be cut in half to make two 25 foot pieces, the most common length used by Shibari masters. Its two ply construction makes it robust and somewhat stiff, the stiffness will fade in time after use while still remaining incredibly strong. While a lot of hemp rope can be itchy and shed tiny fibers, our rope is super soft and sheds almost nothing at all.
Pro Tip: Hemp rope gets shorter when wet, due to curling fibers. If you wash your rope, make sure to keep it under tension so it stretches back out as it dries.
Safety note: Suspension bondage can cause serious injury. Do not attempt without proper training. Always keep rope shears nearby in case a quick release is needed.
